I am getting my feet wet with the MVC design pattern. I chose to use PureMVC because it seems like one of the most popular MVC frameworks for Flash right now. So far PureMVC is just a little bit complicated for me. I am not used to going the scenic route in order to get simple things up and running. At least that is how I feel when going through examples and creating test applications. It’s hard to see the benefit of using MVC with small examples. But I know I need to use the MVC design pattern. Down the road when my app is huge, having used MVC will be very beneficial.
I use FDT for most of my ActionScript development. I wanted to get some templates I could use in FDT for PureMVC. I didn’t find any for FDT, but I did find some for FlashDevelop here. I tooks those templates and retro fitted them to work in FDT. You can snag the templates below if you are a fellow FDT’er.

- Team Fortress 2
- Assassins Creed 2
- Assassins Creed 2
- Poker
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Uncharted 2
- Serious Sam
- Fly Squirrel Fly
- Left 4 Dead 2
