Consult Your Community

We had the pleasure of working with five Georgia Tech students – Shan, Stockton, Justin, Anne and Jack – this spring semester through the Consult Your Community (CYC) program. The Georgia Tech chapter of CYC provides small business owners in the Atlanta area – that’s us! – with the necessary resources and recommendations in marketing, finance, accounting, technology, and operations to help revitalize, strengthen, and grow their business.

This group of all-star students helped Thrust by researching the business models of similar health-oriented companies (such as GoNoodle, Kahoot! and Patient Point), as we are looking to expand and promote our disease literacy app, Hemonauts, which is launching in September, 2019. They recently wrapped up the semester by putting together and presenting to us their Hemonauts business model recommendation – well done guys!

We still have lots of work to do, but all the time and research the CYC team put in definitely helped us get a running start. We are so grateful to have been a part of this awesome program and highly recommend other small businesses to apply if they’re looking for some consulting help.

We hope being a part of this program was as valuable to these students as it was to us, and we hope to further our relationship with the CYC – Georgia Tech chapter as we continue to grow. Thank you Shan, Stockton, Justin, Anne and Jack – now go enjoy your summer internships!
